Review: Premier Village Phu Quoc โ€“ The “Two-Ocean” Resort (Using Accor Points) ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ณ

By Sahil Gulati | January 2026

If you are looking for the ultimate “end of the world” luxury in Vietnam, Premier Village Phu Quoc claims the top spot. Located on the unique Ong Doi Cape, it is the only resort in Phu Quoc where you can watch the sunrise and the sunset from the same location.

We booked this for the grand finale of our 16-person family trip. Here is the honest breakdown of our 1-night stay in the 3-Bedroom Garden Villas.

Stay Date: [13th-14th January 2026] Room Type: 2 x 3-Bedroom Garden Villas with Private Pool Group: 16 people (10 adults + 6 children) Booking: Redeemed using ALL (Accor Live Limitless) points Accor Status: Platinum Rating: 4.5/5 (would return, but with some caveats for large groups)

Dealuni Verdict: Booking multi-bedroom villas with points is one of the best “sweet spot” redemptions in the Accor program. Paying cash for two of these massive villas would have cost a fortune (approx โ‚น50kโ€“โ‚น70k per night per villa). Using points here gave us outsized value.

๐Ÿ•’ The Check-In Reality (Platinum Status Fail?)

This was the only hiccup in paradise.

  • The Expectation: As an Accor Platinum member, I usually get Early Check-In (often as early as 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM).
  • The Reality: We didn’t get our rooms until 3:00 PM.
  • Why? The resort was fully booked.
  • The Lesson: Status helps, but it doesn’t perform miracles. “Subject to availability” is the fine print that hurts when you are traveling with 6 tired kids. However, the staff managed the situation politely, and we used the time to explore the resort.

Afternoon bliss on the resort’s private beach โ€“ calm turquoise waters, natural rock formations, and hillside villas overlooking the sea. Perfect spot for families to relax.

๐Ÿก The Villa: A Private Mansion

Once we got the keys, the frustration vanished. These aren’t just rooms; they are full-sized homes.

  • Space: Massive. Each villa has a large living room, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen.
  • The Pool: The private pool is large enough for the kids to actually swim in, not just a “plunge pool.”
  • The Vibe: Since we had Garden Villas, we were surrounded by lush greenery. It felt incredibly privateโ€”like we owned a chunk of the jungle.

Framed by swaying palms, the resort’s beach offers stunning open views of the bay and distant islands โ€“ ideal for sunset walks or kid-friendly playtime.

๐Ÿฅ— Food & Dining (Vegetarian Survival)

With a group of 16 pure vegetarians, food is always a stress test for a resort.

  • Breakfast: We ate at The Market restaurant. The spread was extensive with a mix of Vietnamese and international options.
  • Dinner: At Zoya. We enjoyed the Panner Tikka a lot.
  • Vegetarian Options: Good, but not endless. There were plenty of fruits, pastries, yogurts, and made-to-order stations.
  • Indian Food: They do accommodate special requests. If you are a strict vegetarian or Jain, inform the chef immediately upon arrival. Other Indian guests have reported the chef making special dishes on request.

After dark, the beach transforms into a peaceful paradise with soft resort lights reflecting on the water and hillside villas glowing against the night sky.

๐ŸŒŠ Facilities & Kids Activities

  • The “Two Oceans”: The resort’s layout is stunning. You can take a buggy from the sunrise side to the sunset side in minutes.
  • Kids Club: This was a lifesaver. They have a scheduled activity list (painting, crafts, etc.) that keeps the 6 kids entertained.
  • The Main Pool: A multi-level infinity pool that connects the two beaches. Absolutely Instagram-worthy.

Overall Impressions

This is one of the best villa-only resorts in Vietnam for large groupsโ€”peaceful location (far from crowded northern Phu Quoc areas), stunning natural setting, impeccable cleanliness, and warm staff (shoutout to reception and buggy drivers). Redeeming points made it feel like a steal for the luxury level.

The only real downside was the late check-in due to full occupancyโ€”Platinum status didn’t help as much as hoped. For future stays, I’d book a longer period or confirm availability early.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely for families/groups wanting privacy and beach bliss. If you’re traveling with 10+ people and have ALL points, this is a fantastic redemption spot.

Value (points redemption): Excellentโ€”saved a fortune vs. cash rates for equivalent space. Would stay again? Yes, preferably for 2โ€“3 nights next time.

If you’re an Accor loyalist eyeing Phu Quoc, check availability on ALL Accor siteโ€”Premier Village Phu Quoc is a standout in their portfolio!
