Emirates Skywards Winter Bonus: Skip the Accor 25% Offer

Emirates Skywards is running a winter bonus on hotels, holiday packages and car hire, plus a 25% bonus when you convert ALL Accor points into Skywards miles. The hotel and car offers are fine if you already earn with Skywards. The Accor conversion is one to skip.

Skip the Accor conversion

ALL Accor points convert to Skywards at 2:1, with a minimum of 4,000 points. With the 25% bonus, 4,000 ALL points (worth €80, about ₹8,480, against hotel stays) become 2,500 Skywards miles. That’s about ₹3.40 per mile for miles we value at ₹0.80. You’d be giving up roughly three-quarters of your points’ value.

The rest

• IHG double miles: only worth it if you’d rather have Skywards miles than IHG points on that stay. For most people, IHG points are the better earn.
• Car hire and Booking.com: a small extra if you’re already renting or booking through these, and you collect Skywards miles.
• Emirates Holidays and Skywards Hotels: 50% more miles on a package or hotel you’d book anyway. Compare the price with booking direct first; a bonus on a dearer booking isn’t a saving.
