Hilton Brings LXR to India: The Den Bengaluru, Rates and Points
Updated as of 14 Oct 2026. Prices checked on hilton.com for one night on Friday 20 Nov 2026, two adults, while signed out.
Hilton has brought its LXR Hotels & Resorts brand to India. The first one is The Den Bengaluru in Whitefield, announced on 13 October 2026. It’s now bookable on hilton.com, with points or cash. But this isn’t a new hotel: The Den has been open since 2018, and it’s now joined Hilton.
What LXR is
LXR is Hilton’s brand for independent luxury hotels. Each hotel keeps its own name and style, and Hilton runs the booking, the loyalty programme and the standards. Think of it as Hilton’s answer to Marriott’s Luxury Collection. That’s why the hotel is still called The Den, and not “Hilton Bengaluru”.

What it costs: cash vs points
| Room | Points a night | Cash from (before 18% GST) | Flexible rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| King or Twin Deluxe | 81,000 | ₹22,873 | ₹28,325 |
| King Corner | 1,15,000 | ₹23,705 | ₹29,355 |
| King Studio (balcony) | 1,19,000 | ₹24,536 | ₹30,385 |
| Executive (lounge access) | 1,33,000 | ₹27,447 | ₹33,990 |
| One Bedroom Suite | 1,78,000 | ₹36,596 | ₹45,320 |
| Presidential Suite | 4,35,000 | ₹89,827 | ₹1,11,240 |

What a point is worth here: the cheapest Deluxe room costs about ₹27,000 with GST, or 81,000 points. That’s about ₹0.33 a point. Against the flexible rate (about ₹33,400 with GST), it’s ₹0.41. Bigger rooms are worse value on points: the Corner room costs 34,000 more points for only ₹830 more cash.
- Use points for the Deluxe room if you already have Hilton points and the cash rate is ₹30,000 or more on your dates.
- Never use points for the Corner, Studio or suites at these prices. Pay cash.
- Don’t buy Hilton points for this hotel. Even in Hilton’s sales, 81,000 points cost more than the cash rate.
Is it worth ₹27,000 a night?
For a Whitefield business hotel, that’s a lot. The area has plenty of five-star options, and many sell for less on most nights. What you’re paying extra for here is the Hilton status perks, which make sense for some guests:
- Hilton Gold and Diamond members get Hilton’s daily food and beverage benefit (breakfast at most Hilton hotels in India) and room upgrades when available. Diamond can also get lounge access. That makes the Deluxe rate much better value.
- Silver members and above get the fifth night free on standard room award stays of five nights. That helps a long work trip.
- No Hilton status? Compare with the other Whitefield hotels before you book. The Den’s new LXR badge doesn’t change the room you’ll sleep in.
DealUni take
Good news for Hilton loyalists in India: another luxury hotel to earn and use points at, and Hilton says it’s growing its luxury portfolio in India. But The Den isn’t a new luxury hotel, and at 81,000 points or ₹27,000 a night it’s priced like one. Book it if you have Hilton Gold or Diamond, or a corporate rate. Everyone else should compare prices first.
Naam naya hai, hotel wahi purana. Daam dekh ke hi booking karo. (The name is new, the hotel is the same. Check the price before you book.)
