3 nights in Phuket or Bali from US$299 plus 10,000 KrisFlyer miles with Marriott and Anantara Vacation Club

Marriott & Anantara Vacation Club: 3 Nights From ₹29K + Miles

Updated as of 13 Oct 2026. Terms from the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer promotions page and the Marriott Vacation Club and Anantara Vacation Club offer pages. Rupee figures use US$1 = ₹96.71 and SGD 1 = ₹75.53 from our FX sheet. We value KrisFlyer miles at ₹1.20–2 each.

Singapore Airlines is advertising two cheap beach holidays to KrisFlyer members: 3 nights in Phuket or Bali from US$299 with Marriott Vacation Club, and 3 nights in Thailand or Bali from SGD 399 with Anantara Vacation Club, each with up to 10,000 KrisFlyer miles. The prices are real. The catch is that both are timeshare sales previews: you must sit through a 90–120 minute sales pitch during your stay.

Our view: take the holiday, don’t buy the timeshare. If you can say no to a skilled salesperson for two hours, these are some of the cheapest resort stays in Southeast Asia. If you think you might say yes, skip them.

From each club’s offer terms, checked 13 Oct 2026. Both are Singapore campaigns with Singapore phone numbers, but neither set of terms limits them to Singapore residents.

The income rule is where most readers drop out. If your household doesn’t clear it, don’t book: the clubs check, and failing eligibility can mean paying the full rate.

Best pick: Marriott’s Phuket 2-bedroom, at about ₹5,600 a night after miles, with a full year to travel. Anantara is the better choice if your household income is between ₹76 and ₹97 lakh (Marriott’s bar is higher), or if you want breakfast and airport transfers included.

Ignore the “retail value” figures on the booking pages. They’re there to make the deal look bigger.

The presentation: how to say no

The cheap stay is paid for by the sales pitch. Expect a friendly, well-trained salesperson, a tour of the resort, and a “today only” price that drops if you hesitate. Your only obligation is to attend and finish the presentation. You don’t have to buy anything.

  • Decide before you arrive. Agree with your partner that the answer is no, whatever the offer.
  • Don’t sign anything on the day, including “just a reservation” or a deposit.
  • Leave your cards in the room if you’re worried about an impulse decision.
  • Be polite and brief: “Thank you, we’re not buying. We’d like to finish now.”

Why we wouldn’t buy the timeshare

A vacation club costs a large amount upfront, then annual maintenance fees for as long as you own it. Resale value is usually very low, so it’s hard to get your money back if your plans change. Even if you travel a lot, hotel points and a good travel card usually get you more holidays for the same money, with no long-term fees. For most people, signing up turns a ₹17,000 holiday into a lakhs-long commitment.
