Quick Hits: Hyatt 25% Off Sale, NMACC Free Ticket, HSBC Padel
Updated as of 31 Oct 2026. Three quick ones this week: a Hyatt sale for winter trips, a free theatre ticket for Amex Platinum holders in Mumbai, and free court time on HSBC’s premium cards.
Hyatt sale: up to 25% off winter stays
- The deal: World of Hyatt members get up to 25% off at participating hotels.
- Book by: 8 December 2026. Stay: 31 October 2026 to 30 April 2027.
- Breakfast: at participating hotels in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, members booking the breakfast version of the rate get daily breakfast included. That covers Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- The catch: the sale rate is prepaid in full and can’t be changed or cancelled. It also applies to the room rate only, not taxes or resort fees.
- Membership: joining World of Hyatt is free, so sign up before you book.
Check points first. Hyatt’s fixed award chart makes its points worth far more at expensive resorts. In our sampling of Hyatt’s Maldives resorts this winter, Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa asked 30,000–35,000 points a night against about ₹1.1 lakh in cash. Even at 25% off, that’s about ₹84,000 a night, so if you hold Hyatt points, use them there. For cheaper city hotels in Europe and Dubai, the sale with free breakfast is usually the better deal.
Amex Platinum: a free NMACC ticket in November
- The deal: buy tickets to an NMACC-produced show and get one ticket free.
- Venues: The Grand Theatre, The Studio Theatre and The Cube at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Mumbai.
- Dates: 1 to 30 November 2026, including pre-sale.
- Limit: once per Platinum Card member for the whole offer. Diamond Box seats are excluded.
- How: book on the NMACC website with your Amex Platinum Card.
Worth using if you’re in Mumbai and already planning a show. Buy two tickets and one is free, which halves the cost for a couple.
HSBC cards: free padel and pickleball courts
- Free slot: HSBC Premier, Taj and Privé credit cardholders get one free court slot a month through the Hudle app, on HSBC Reserved Slots.
- Everyone else: all HSBC credit cards get 10% off racquet-sport court bookings on Hudle, up to ₹100 per booking.
- Venues: HSBC-branded courts in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata. Reserved free slots are limited and, at least at Mumbai’s Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club, only on Fridays to Sundays.
- Valid until: 31 December 2026.
A small perk, but a court hour costs ₹1,000–1,500 in metro cities, so one free slot a month is worth up to ₹18,000 a year if you play.
DealUni take: the Hyatt sale is the one that matters. Book a Dubai or Europe stay with breakfast at the sale rate, but price your Maldives nights in points first. Pehle points check karo, phir cash. (Check points first, then cash.)
