Ended: Akasa Festive Sale: Up to 20% Off Till 18 Oct
📅 Updated as of 20 Oct 2026
⛔ Deal Ended — the Akasa Festive Sale and the FLYAKASA code closed on 18 Oct 2026. We’ve kept this post for reference, as Akasa runs similar sales through the year and the base-fare maths still applies.
Updated as of 12 Oct 2026. Book by 18 Oct 2026, 11:59 PM. Terms from Akasa Air’s Festive Sale page.
Akasa Air’s Festive Sale gives up to 20% off fares with the code FLYAKASA, plus cheaper seats, Priority and baggage. The discount is on the base fare only, so the real saving is smaller than the headline. Here’s what you actually get.
The offer
| What | Domestic | International |
|---|---|---|
| Fare discount (code FLYAKASA) | Up to 20% off the base fare | |
| Seat selection | Flat 20% off | |
| Akasa Priority | ₹650 flat | ₹750 flat |
| Seat + meal deal | ₹700 flat | ₹800 flat |
| Pre-paid excess baggage (15, 20, 30 kg) | Up to 20% off | |
The rules that matter
- Base fare only. Taxes, airport charges and fees aren’t discounted.
- Saver and Flexi fares only, on non-stop or through flights. No group bookings and no special fares (students, seniors, armed forces, doctors).
- Book 5+ days ahead. Seats are limited, so popular dates may not show the full 20%.
- Hanoi and Phuket blackouts: from India, 15–20 Oct, 6–15 Nov and 17–30 Dec. Back to India, 20–27 Oct, 14–18 Nov and 26 Dec–6 Jan.
- Can’t be combined with other offers. Changes cost the usual fee plus any fare difference.
The maths
Take a ₹6,000 domestic one-way ticket. If about ₹4,500 of that is base fare, the most you save is about ₹900, roughly 15% of the ticket. On busy routes and dates expect less, because the discount is “up to”. The add-on deals are where the sale is clearly good: a seat and meal for ₹700, or Priority for ₹650, if you’d buy them anyway.
Pay with a card that earns well on airline spends, and add your Akasa Elevate number when you book. A card earning 3–5% back stacks on top of the sale discount.
DealUni take
Worth it for November and December trips you’ve already planned, especially around Diwali weddings and year-end holidays, as long as you compare the final price with other airlines first. The real wins are the add-ons and international routes. Don’t book a trip just because there’s a sale.
Sale ka faayda tabhi hai jab trip pehle se pakki ho. (A sale helps only when the trip is already planned.)
