IndiGo BluChip Turns Two: Free 2,000 BluChips and 2x Offers

Updated as of 7 Oct 2026. Terms from IndiGo’s BluChip anniversary page and its offer FAQs. We value a BluChip at about ₹0.60 (DealUni midpoint, ₹0.40–0.80).

IndiGo BluChip turned two this month, and IndiGo is celebrating with a stack of October offers. Most of them are small, but one is close to free: 2,000 BluChips for doing two simple things before the month ends, plus a lucky-draw entry for 2 lakh BluChips. Here’s what’s on, what’s worth your time, and what to skip.

The main event: BluStreak, 2,000 BluChips guaranteed

Step 1Opt in on the anniversary page by 28 Oct. Nothing counts until you do
Step 2Complete any two of: (a) fly an IndiGoStretch flight paid with money, (b) fly a flight booked with BluChips, (c) earn BluChips with 5 different partners
DatesBook 1–28 Oct, fly by 31 Oct
Reward2,000 BluChips (about ₹1,200), once per member, plus entry into a draw for 2,00,000 BluChips
RulesIndiGo website or app only, with your BluChip number added at booking. No retro claims. Cancelled trips don’t count
Upgrading an existing booking to IndiGoStretch counts as the Stretch activity, per IndiGo’s FAQ.

The easy route: already flying IndiGo this month? Book or upgrade one leg to IndiGoStretch, and book one cheap short flight with BluChips. Two activities done. Partner earning is the hard one, because you need five different brands, not five transactions.

One to skip: Accor points to BluChips

Accor is on the 2x partner list, with conversions of 6,000–30,000 ALL points at a time. Don’t. ALL points are worth about ₹2 each off any Accor hotel bill, while a BluChip is worth about ₹0.60. Even doubled, you’d be swapping a strong currency for a weak one. Our hotel-to-airline guide explains why hotel points belong in hotels.

What’s a BluChip worth?

We value BluChips at ₹0.40–0.80, depending on the fare you’d otherwise pay. That puts the 2,000 BluStreak bonus at roughly ₹800–1,600 and the 2 lakh draw prize at about ₹1.2 lakh of IndiGo flights. BluChips are good for domestic and short-haul hops, not long-haul business class, so don’t move points from stronger programmes into them for this offer.

DealUni take

Opt in to BluStreak today; it costs nothing. If you’re already flying IndiGo in October, one Stretch upgrade and one BluChip booking earn you 2,000 BluChips and a shot at 2 lakh. Holders of IndiGo co-brand cards should put their next IndiGo booking on the card this month for the 2x. Skip everything that means spending or converting just for the bonus.
