Hyatt x Aeroplan: 1.5 Bonus Points per US$ on Stays Till Feb
Updated as of 21 Oct 2026. Register by 11 Nov 2026; stays 14 Oct 2026 – 14 Feb 2027. US$1 = ₹94.97 (20 Oct 2026). Aeroplan points valued at ₹1.30 (DealUni Program Values sheet, last verified 26 Sep 2026).
World of Hyatt is giving 1.5 Aeroplan points per US$ spent on paid Hyatt stays, on top of your normal Hyatt points. It’s free money for anyone with a Hyatt stay this winter, in India or abroad, but only if you register first.
| Earn | 1.5 Aeroplan points per US$ on eligible paid stays, plus your usual Hyatt points |
| Register by | 11 Nov 2026, on Hyatt’s offer page, logged in to World of Hyatt |
| Stay between | 14 Oct 2026 and 14 Feb 2027 |
| You need | Your Hyatt and Aeroplan accounts linked (free) |
| Not eligible | Award (points) stays |
| Points post | Up to 8 weeks after the stay |
What it’s worth
| Stay | In US$ | Bonus Aeroplan | Worth |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 night at a Hyatt Regency, ₹12,000 | $126 | 189 | ₹246 |
| 1 night at a ₹20,000 Hyatt | $211 | 316 | ₹411 |
| 3 nights at ₹25,000 (e.g. Andaz Delhi) | $790 | 1,185 | ₹1,540 |
That’s roughly 2% extra back. Not life-changing, but it costs nothing, and Aeroplan points are the ones Indians use for India–Europe business class from 40,000 points one way (see our Aeroplan guide).
The one setting to leave alone
Linking the accounts is required. Switching your Hyatt earning preference to Aeroplan is not, and you shouldn’t: that swaps your Hyatt points for a flat 500 Aeroplan points per stay. Keep earning Hyatt points; the 1.5 per US$ comes on top.
| You are… | What to do |
|---|---|
| Have any paid Hyatt stay before mid-February | ✅ Register now, link Aeroplan, keep earning Hyatt points |
| A Hyatt Explorist or Globalist | ✅ Register, and look at the Aeroplan status challenge too |
| Booking Hyatt on points only | ❌ Award stays don’t earn |
| Booking through MakeMyTrip or a bank portal | ⚠️ Third-party bookings usually don’t earn Hyatt points, so this bonus likely won’t apply either |
