Mastercard: 12% Off GetYourGuide Tours Until March 2027
Updated as of 23 Oct 2026. Offer terms from Mastercard’s priceless specials page, checked 23 Oct 2026.
Booking a city tour, a museum ticket or a day trip on your next holiday? If you hold a Mastercard issued in India, GetYourGuide is giving 12% off every booking until 31 March 2027. It’s small, but it applies to every activity, not just one.
| Discount | 12% off all bookings |
| Who | Eligible Mastercards issued in India (also Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and mainland China) |
| Valid until | 31 Mar 2027 |
| How | Open the offer on Mastercard’s page, tap Book Now, and book through that link with your Mastercard |
| Catch | Only through the promotional link; can’t be combined with other GetYourGuide discounts; GetYourGuide can end it at any time |
What it’s worth: on a ₹10,000 day trip you save ₹1,200. Before you pay, check the currency at checkout: if you’re charged in a foreign currency, your card’s forex markup (often 3.5% plus GST) eats into the discount. A low-forex Mastercard keeps more of the 12%.
Stacking it: Magnus for Burgundy (Mastercard)
The 12% comes off the price; your card’s rewards come on top. Here’s a ₹10,000 tour paid with the Mastercard variant of Axis Magnus for Burgundy:
| Normal month | Already spent ₹1.5 lakh this month | |
|---|---|---|
| Price after 12% off | ₹8,800 | ₹8,800 |
| 2% markup + GST | +₹208 | +₹208 |
| EDGE Reward points | 528 (12 per ₹200) | 1,540 (35 per ₹200) |
| Airline miles at 5:4 | 422 | 1,232 |
| Effective cost (miles at ₹1 each) | ₹8,586 (14% off) | ₹7,776 (22% off) |
Can you add a cashback site too? TopCashback’s US site lists 7% back on GetYourGuide, but don’t count on stacking it. The Mastercard discount works only through its own promotional link, and a cashback site needs you to click through its link instead. Only one of them will track, and Mastercard’s terms say the offer can’t be combined with other offers. Pick the 12%: it’s bigger and it’s taken off at checkout, not paid weeks later.
Compare before you book. The same tour is often sold on Klook and the operator’s own site. Check those prices too, then use the cheapest. Planning the whole trip? Our Trip Spend Planner shows which of your cards earns the most abroad, and the free eSIM guide covers the data you’ll need when you land.
