Quick Hits: Fairmont $50 a Night, Sofitel 25% Off, IHG Deals

Fairmont: US$50 to spend for every night you stay

• The offer: book the “Stay Longer, Enjoy More” rate for 2 nights or more and get a US$50 (about ₹4,700) hotel credit per room, per night. It adds up across the stay, so 3 nights gives you US$150 (about ₹14,200) for dining, spa and other hotel spends.
• Dates: book and stay between 15 Oct 2026 and 31 Mar 2027. That covers Christmas, Pongal and Republic Day.
• In India: Fairmont Jaipur, Fairmont Mumbai and Fairmont Udaipur Palace.
• Nearby: Fairmont Bab Al Bahr (Abu Dhabi), Fairmont Dubai, Fairmont The Palm, Fairmont Ajman, Fairmont Fujairah, Fairmont Doha, Fairmont Singapore, Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, Fairmont Jakarta, Fairmont Makati, Fairmont Hanoi, Fairmont Tokyo, and the three Kenya hotels (The Norfolk, Mara Safari Club, Mount Kenya Safari Club).
• The catch: the room is charged at the hotel’s normal best available rate, with no member discount. Unused credit is lost at checkout, and each hotel decides where it can be spent. ALL points are earned as usual.

Sofitel: 25% off, including Sofitel Mumbai BKC

• The offer: 25% off the flexible rate (with or without breakfast) at participating Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems hotels.
• Dates: book between 27 Oct and 1 Dec 2026; stay between 8 Dec 2026 and 28 Mar 2027. Stays of 2 to 10 nights.
• Where: India is on the list (Sofitel features Sofitel Mumbai BKC), along with the Maldives, UAE, Qatar, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mauritius and Japan.
• Rules: no prepayment, and free cancellation under the hotel’s flexible-rate policy. ALL members can add the member rate on top. It doesn’t combine with other offers, and group bookings don’t count. Quote reference 021557 if you book by phone.

Verdict: a good, refundable rate for the holiday weeks. Book now while you plan, then cancel if you find award space or a better deal.

IHG: 30% off, but not in India

• The offer: IHG’s Destination Deals rate takes up to 30% off at selected hotels, for stays from 30 Oct to 13 Dec 2026. Book by 1 Nov.
• Nearby hotels in the sale: the Maldives (Raa, Laamu, Lhaviyani and Noonu atolls), Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Oman (Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Duqm, Musandam and the interior), Vietnam (Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ha Long) and Hokkaido in Japan.
• India: no Indian hotels are in this round.
