How HSBC transfers work
TravelOne, Premier and the invite-only Privé share the same 20 partners, mostly at 1:1, with no transfer fee. The lifetime-free Visa Platinum transfers to the same partners at half the rate (mostly 2:1), so use it only for top-ups. Premier and Privé points don’t expire.

TravelOne, Premier and Privé: mostly 1 → 1 (AirAsia 1 → 3). Visa Platinum: mostly 2 → 1 (AirAsia 1 → 2).
When should I transfer?
Only after you’ve found the award seat or hotel night you want. Transfers can’t be reversed, and programmes can change prices.
