Paid Hotel Memberships in India: Which One Pays Back?
Updated as of 26 Oct 2026. Prices and benefits from each programme’s official India site, checked 26 Oct 2026: accorplus.com/in, clubmarriott.in, hyattdiningclub.com, itchotels.com (Culinaire) and tajhotels.com (Epicure). Club Marriott hotel prices are from clubmarriott.in hotel pages, checked 23 Oct 2026.
Every big hotel group in India now sells a paid membership: pay once a year, get dining discounts, a free night or two and a stack of vouchers. They cost ₹9,000 to ₹59,000. Which one pays you back depends on two things: how often you eat at that chain’s restaurants in your city, and whether you’d actually use the free night.
TL;DR
- Best all-rounder: ALL Accor+ Explorer (₹23,199). Two free nights, 30% off food across Asia Pacific, and instant ALL Gold. Many premium cards give it free; check yours first.
- Best cheap pick: Club Marriott Level 1 at a hotel that includes a free night (from ₹11,799 at The Westin Chennai Velachery).
- Best for dining only: Hyatt Dining Club Silver (₹9,000): 30% off food for up to 5 people at 40+ Hyatt hotels.
- Club ITC Culinaire and Taj Epicure only pay back if you dine at ITC or Taj often. Epicure is the priciest at ₹25,000 + tax.
- Hilton and IHG don’t sell a paid membership in India.

| Club Marriott Gourmet | ₹10,620 | ❌ | 25% food and drinks | ❌ | India only |
| Hyatt Dining Club Silver / Gold / Platinum | ₹9,000 / ₹17,519 / ₹22,419 | 0 / 1 / 1 | 30% food (1–5 guests), 20% select drinks | ❌ | 40+ Hyatt hotels in India |

How much you must spend to break even
A free night is the biggest part of the value. We count each free night at ₹8,000, a typical weekend rate at these hotels in a metro. Then we work out how much food you’d need to buy at the member discount to earn back the rest of the fee. Vouchers (buffets, cakes, upgrades) are a bonus on top.
| Membership | Fee | Free nights worth | Food spend to recover the rest |
|---|---|---|---|
| Club Marriott Level 1, Westin Chennai | ₹11,799 | ₹8,000 | ₹15,200 at 25% off |
| ALL Accor+ Explorer | ₹23,199 | ₹16,000 | ₹24,000 at 30% off |
| Hyatt Dining Club Silver | ₹9,000 | – | ₹30,000 at 30% off |
| Hyatt Dining Club Gold | ₹17,519 | ₹8,000 | ₹31,700 at 30% off |
| Club Marriott Gourmet | ₹10,620 | – | ₹42,500 at 25% off |
| Hyatt Dining Club Platinum | ₹22,419 | ₹8,000 | ₹48,100 at 30% off |
| Club ITC Culinaire Classic | ₹10,030 | – | ₹50,200 at 20% off |
| Club ITC Culinaire Select | ₹22,420 | ₹8,000 | ₹72,100 at 20% off |
| Taj Epicure Preferred | ₹29,500 | ₹8,000 | ₹86,000 at 25% off |
The pattern is clear. Memberships with a free night pay back fastest, because the night alone covers most of the fee. Dining-only memberships need ₹30,000–₹50,000 of restaurant spend a year at one chain, which is two or three big family dinners a month.

Worth it from India? Only Voyager makes some sense, if you stay at Accor hotels in Europe often: 15% off and Silver for about ₹19,000. For most Indians, Explorer is better value for about ₹4,000 more, because of the two free nights and Gold.
Club Marriott and Club Marriott Gourmet
- Hotel-based Club Marriott: you pick a hotel and a level. Prices and free nights vary by hotel: Level 1 is ₹11,799 with a free night at The Westin Chennai Velachery, ₹16,520 with a night at JW Marriott Bengaluru, but has no free night at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Juhu or Pune.
- What every level gets: up to 25% off food and drinks for up to 20 guests, 50% off food on Tuesdays, buy-one-get-one drinks on Mondays, up to 20% off rooms, 20% off spa, and two 50%-off stay certificates. Works at almost 100 hotels in India and 200+ in Asia Pacific.
- Gourmet: ₹10,620, India only, no free night. It’s weaker than hotel-based Level 1 for barely less money. Full maths in our Club Marriott Gourmet post.
- Free with: HDFC Infinia (first year only).
- No Bonvoy points or status come with either.

Club ITC Culinaire and Taj Epicure
- Culinaire: Classic ₹8,500, Select ₹19,000, Elite ₹29,500, all plus GST, with cheaper multi-year plans. 20% off dining; 0, 1 or 2 free nights; room-rate vouchers. IDFC FIRST Private gives Select free. See our Culinaire review.
- Taj Epicure: Preferred ₹25,000 and Privileged ₹50,000, plus taxes. 25% off food and drinks for up to 10 guests (including room service, takeaway and Qmin), a one-night stay voucher, set-meal and spa vouchers, a room upgrade and NeuPass Silver or Gold status. Standard Chartered gives Preferred free to selected Priority customers.
- Taj Epicure Plus: a bank partner version that isn’t sold directly. IndusInd Pioneer savings customers who meet the bank’s criteria get it free from 1 October 2026, with a complimentary stay and room upgrade. Amex Platinum’s version gives the 25% dining discount and 20%-off stay vouchers, but no free night.

Want to earn the hotel points too? See which Indian cards transfer to Accor ALL, Marriott Bonvoy and Club ITC.
DealUni take: buy the membership with a free night at a hotel you’d actually stay at; dining-only memberships need far more spend than most people put in. And before paying anything, check your card: you may already have one free. Pehle card dekho, phir membership kharido. (Check your card first, then buy the membership.)
